Harmful weeds and invasive, non-native plants

There are a number of harmful weeds and non-native plants that are controlled by law. These include;

  • common ragwort
  • spear thistle
  • creeping or field thistle
  • broad-leaved dock
  • curled dock
  • Japanese knotweed
     
  • giant hogweed
