Bed bugs

All infestations should be treated.

Bed bugs can live in bed covers, mattresses, bedsprings and frames, soft furnishings and cracks under wallpaper. Although their bite is painless their saliva can cause skin to itch, swell and become red. They feed at night or at any time the room is dark and are hard to see.

Treat all hiding places with a product that is made for bed bugs. Please make sure that you follow the instructions on the label carefully.

Professional Treatment

The Council does not offer a pest control service however there are local and national companies that will provide treatment for a fee.
