Maldon District Council is working with the Essex Chambers of Commerce to host business networking in the Maldon District.

As part of the Sense of Place Initiative, the first event was held on 28th July at Forrester Park with over 70 people in attendance.

Cllr. Penny Channer, Leader of Maldon District Council said “The Council is committed to supporting local business. We want to create an environment that enables businesses to arrive, survive and thrive in the District.

By working in partnership with Sense of Place, we can bring local business leaders together and enable better communication, access to opportunities, business support and local projects that all support our business community.”

Charlie Fillingham, Chairman of Maldon District Sense of Place said, “The Sense of Place Initiative is all about celebrating our ‘place’ and bringing businesses and local leaders together. The Chamber are a great voice for Business in Essex and their Big Business Network will be part of the wider Maldon District Business Network, supporting local businesses and the prosperity of the area”
