Residents and Business Survey Thank You

The Leader of Maldon District Council is thanking residents and businesses for completing the 2023 Residents and Business survey.
The survey, which was open between 2 October and 26 November last year, is an important tool that helps the Council understand its community and what is important to the people in it.
In a turnaround from the previous year, the number of responses from residents was up by 95%.
Councillor Richard Siddall, Leader of Maldon District Council, said; "I am delighted that so many residents and businesses from the district took the time to complete the survey. We use the information we gather to help us understand the community that we work with and to help us plan our services. The more responses we get, the better!
“As a thank you, we have drawn two names at random from all the responses and presented those residents with a small prize to say thank you for taking part. Congratulations go to Ms H and Mr A both from Maldon who receive a £50 voucher each.
“This year’s survey will be launched in the Autumn, and I really hope that we can keep up the great number of responses then. Look out for more details later in the year.”
