Councillor Richard Siddall, Leader of Maldon District Council said, “I am so pleased that UFest is returning to Promenade Park in 2025. The festival received so much positive feedback last year, and this year, the team behind UFest are planning an even bigger and better festival.  

“UFest provides the opportunity for residents to find the support they need in dealing with the cost of living, or family and personal support. It is also a great free fun day where all members of the family can have the chance to enjoy themselves by trying out new activities and interests.  

UFest is a free all-day community festival that brings local people together in the Maldon District to celebrate everything that makes life worth living.  

The festival will feature an exciting day of activities, running from 11am to 4pm, with live music, stalls, and events for the whole community, focussing on health, wellbeing, and fun. There will be music and bands, a fantastic selection of games, sports, and activities to get involved with throughout the day.  

Festival goers will have a chance to get active, learn new skills, and maybe even find a new hobby.

The UFest team are calling for local organisations, service providers, and other community groups to join the event. Anyone interested in appearing or performing at UFest are encouraged to complete the online expression of interest forms at https://www.maldon.gov.uk/ufest.
