Maldon District Council achieves Essex police community safety accreditation

Maldon District Council is proud to announce its successful renewal of the Essex Police Community Safety Accreditation earlier this year.

The Council has been a dedicated member of the Essex Police Community Safety Accreditation Scheme for over 20 years and has recently renewed its accreditation following a successful application, which takes place every three years.

The Essex Police Community Safety Accreditation is crucial in enabling the Council to address community safety concerns in partnership with the police, Safer Essex Roads Partnership, and Maldon District Community Safety Partnership. This collaboration helps maintain a safe environment for residents and visitors in the District.

Cllr Richard Siddall, Leader of Maldon District Council, said: "Achieving the Essex Police Community Safety Accreditation is a testament to our commitment to community safety. Our teams have worked tirelessly to meet the rigorous standards set by Essex Police, and this accreditation empowers us to continue making a positive impact in our community.

“We are proud to work alongside our partners to ensure the Maldon District remains a safe and welcoming place for everyone."
