Give your views in the 2026 Residents’ Survey

Published on Monday, 20th July 2026

Maldon District Council is appealing for feedback in its annual Residents’ Survey.

The survey, which is available now at www.maldon.gov.uk/residentsurvey, is a vital way of getting views and feedback from residents on what really matters across the District. Everyone who completes it has the chance to win one of two £50 vouchers.

Councillor Simon Morgan, Leader of Maldon District Council, said; “We are always keen to engage with our residents. Our annual survey gives us a chance to do that by getting feedback from literally hundreds, if not thousands, of people from all around the District.

“Knowing what you want and what concerns you helps us to make our plans, prioritise for the future and deliver the services and facilities that really matter.

“This survey is particularly important as we have Local Government Reorganisation on the horizon for 2028. At that point Maldon District Council will cease to exist and a new Mid Essex Council will take over responsibility for local government in our area. It is therefore vital that we know what matters to our residents as we prepare for this huge change.

“Please therefore take a few moments to let us know what you think about the Council and this special District. To show our appreciation, you have the chance of winning one of two £50 vouchers.”

The survey is open between 20th July and 31st August and can be completed by going to www.maldon.gov.uk/residentsurvey

Paper copies are available at the Council offices or by calling 01621 854477.
