Loci App

Maldon District Council has announced a new partnership with Loci to support the rollout of a free community app for residents across the Maldon District.

The Loci app brings useful local information, services, events and opportunities together in one easy-to-use place, helping residents stay connected with what is happening in their area.

Through the app, residents can access practical local information, including bin collection reminders and service updates, as well as discover community events and local opportunities. The Council is also exploring ways to link the app more closely with local service information to create a smoother experience for residents.

Councillor Simon Morgan, Leader of Maldon District Council, said: “We are delighted to be working with Loci to bring this free app to Maldon District residents. This is about making it easier for people to find the local information they need, when they need it, whether that is checking bin collections, discovering local events, or staying up to date with Council services.

“Digital tools like Loci can help us strengthen the connection between the Council and our communities, while giving residents a simple and practical way to stay informed. We look forward to developing the app further with Loci so that it becomes an even more useful resource for people across the District.”

Thomas and Elliott, Co-Founders of Loci: "Maldon District Council shares our belief that residents deserve one simple place to find the local information that matters to them. We're proud to be partnering with the Council to bring that to life here, and this is just the start. We'll keep working closely with the Council to add more services and make the app even more useful for the community."

The app is free for Maldon District residents to download and use.
