Recycling sites in the district

Recycling Centres

Essex County Council operate the recycling centres including the Maldon and Burnham on Crouch sites, for further information please go to Love Essex

Local Recycling Banks

Recycling banks are located across the district for the following items to be recycled:

  • Food tins and drink cans
  • Glass jars and bottles
  • Textiles and footwear
  • Newspapers and magazines

Banks are emptied regularly. If any of our banks are overflowing, please report them to us.

Please do not deposit anything other than the items above and ensure that they are clean and fit in the bank. Do not leave bags on the floor, you may be prosecuted for fly-tipping.
