What apprenticeship did you complete/are you completing?
Business Admin Level 3 Apprenticeship.
Why did you apply for it?
I wanted a role that would allow a lot of progression in the future.
What element of the apprenticeship do you find most beneficial for your career development?
Working in a formal environment is very beneficial as it puts you in a great mindset to work and people at MDC are very willing to help out and support if you need.
Do you think the apprenticeship programme directly impacted on your career opportunities?
Yes I do believe it has because being an apprentice come with a lot of training courses which will help in progression when applying for new roles within the council or not.
What one piece of advice would you give to an apprentice on the programme now?
Take all the training opportunities that come your way as you can learn a lot during these that you can implement in later life.
