You can apply online for;

• new licence
• transfer a licence

or you can download a form;

• Application for licence to use land as a Residential caravan site
• Application for licence to use land as a Non-residential caravan site
• Application for site licence transfer

Fees

There is no fee for non-residential caravan sites.

There is a fee for residential caravan sites, to apply for a site licence, to amend or transfer an existing licence and an annual fee for existing licences. Failure to pay the annual fee could lead to the site licence being cancelled.

Will tacit consent apply?

Yes, this means that you will be able to act as though your application is granted if you have not heard from us by the end of 56 days.

The Council can serve compliance notices on site owners where site licence conditions are breached. These notices will set out what the site owner needs to do to correct the breeches and the timescales, and the notice may attract a fee. Failure to comply with the notice would be a criminal offence.
