2022 - 2025
In 2022, the Maldon District was awarded £1m from the UK Shared Prosperity Fund (UKSPF) to be spent over three years on projects which supported; Community & Place, Supporting Local Business and People & Skills. In addition, as a rural district, £430,328 was provided in 2023 for supporting rural businesses and communities under the Rural England Prosperity Fund (REPF).
Maldon District Council has now submitted its final return to the Ministry of Homes, Communities and Local Government confirming it has spent £999,331 (99.9%) of the funding allocated. The UKSPF funding supported 16 projects for the benefit of residents, businesses and our communities. A full list of the projects can be found here.
