If you want to access local support within the Maldon District, please check out the details below for organisations and groups that may be able to help.

Refugee and Migrant Community hub

Community drop in to meet fellow hosts and refugee families and get access to support and information. Please note this hub is open to ALL refugees who are looking for support.

Accompanying volunteers and driving support

Volunteer drivers to help refugee families to attend appointments. Volunteers are available to pick families/individuals up and take them to appointments, attend with them to help with translation and then feedback to the hosts.

Maldon District community container

Essential supplies and household items for families arriving in the district. Items that can be provided include food parcels and vouchers, household items and child care (e.g. cots)

The Harbour

Social support project for anyone in the community who would like somewhere to go for company and to talk.

Mondays 10am - 12pm (excluding bank holidays).

Maldon Citizens Advice

Support with benefit and housing advice.

Advice session 10am - 4pm Mon-Fri by appointment only.

Maldon Family Hub:

Warm and friendly centre for families. Helping parents and carers to have access to services and networks which will empower and help them support their family. Includes Community wardrobe to assist with children’s clothing.
