Authority Monitoring Report (AMR)
The Authority Monitoring Report monitors how well the Local Development Plan is being delivered and how the Council is delivering related national targets. It also shows how well the Council is delivering the Local Development Scheme.

Introduction: An outline of the purpose of the AMR and summary of fact sheets available.
Local Development Scheme Delivery: An update on progress that has been made in preparing planning policy documents during 2017/18.
Strategy and Development: An overview of how the Garden Suburbs and strategic sites are being delivered.
Design and Climate Change: An overview of the quality of new development in the District. (To start in 2018/19).
Economy: An overview of availability and development of employment land and retail floorspace across the District and review of future allocations.
Housing: An update on progress that has been made in delivering the quantity and quality of houses to meet identified local needs.
Natural Environment and Green Infrastructure: An overview of recent and planned intervention in green infrastructure, open spaces, parks and biodiversity as part of a strategic approach to improving the quantity, quality and accessibility of the natural environment and sport and recreation facilities. (To start in 2018/19).
Transport and Access: A review of recent and planned interventions designed to promote more sustainable modes of travel and to reduce congestion on the roads. (To start in 2018/19).
Infrastructure and Delivery: An overview of how the infrastructure required to deliver the Local Development Plan is being implemented.
Remaining fact sheets will be updated in due course. This staggered update is due to capacity within the team, and the team's primary focus on delivering the Local Development Plan.
Retail Monitoring Survey
The Council monitors the diversity retail and non-retail uses within the District's town and village centres. In order to support a policy which seeks to maintain the vitality of the high street and rural villages, it looks at current levels of retail occupancy, representation of multiples and the vitality and health of town centres:
