NOTICE OF REFERENDUM
PARISH OF GREAT TOTHAM
NEIGHBOURHOOD PLAN AREA
Referendum on the adoption of Great Totham’s
Neighbourhood Plan
- A referendum will be held on Thursday, 9 June 2022 to decide on the question below:
‘Do you want Maldon District Council to use the Neighbourhood Plan for the Parish of Great Totham to help it decide planning applications in the Neighbourhood area?’
- New applications to be included on the register of electors for this referendum must reach the Electoral Registration Officer at Maldon District Council, by midnight on Friday, 20 May 2022. Applications can be made online: https://www.gov.uk/register-to-vote
- Applications, amendments, or cancellations of postal votes for this referendum must reach the Electoral Registration Officer at Maldon District Council, by 5pm on Monday, 23 May 2022.
- Applications to vote by proxy (not postal proxy) at this referendum must reach the Electoral registration Officer at Maldon District Council by 5pm on Monday, 30 May 2022.
- Applications to vote by emergency proxy at this referendum, applied for on grounds of physical incapacity or a work reason, where that physical incapacity occurred after 5pm on Monday, 30 May 2022, must reach the Electoral Registration Officer at Maldon District Council by 5pm on Thursday, 9 June 2022.
- Applications to vote by post or proxy are available online at Postal Votes | Postal Votes | Maldon District Council. You can also email - elections@maldon.gov.uk.
