Essex Coast Recreational Disturbance Avoidance and Mitigation Strategy Supplementary Planning Document

The Essex Coast RAMS SPD 2020 has been revoked.

The reason for revocation is that the SPD has been superseded by the Essex Coast Recreational disturbance Avoidance Mitigation Strategy 2026 (RAMS 2026).

The recommendation to revoke was approved by Council on 2nd July 2026. Please click here to read the full notice.

This means that the SPD no longer applies within the Maldon District.

The SPD will be revoked by the other local planning authorities in the RAMS partnership, when those Councils adopt the RAMS 2026.
