Comments were invited on whether the Plan has been prepared in accordance with the duty to co-operate, legal and procedural requirements, and that the Plan is 'sound'.

The consultation for the Draft LDP began on 28 August and closed on 14 October; a leaflet and questionnaire were sent to every household and business in the District, and the Council held a series of consultation events throughout September to enable people to discuss the Draft LDP with Council representatives.
We had a fantastic reaction during this public consultation receiving over 3,500 responses.
