Maldon District Council levy rates
The Government has set different levy rates for each local authority area.
For developments within the Maldon District, the rates are:

The previously developed land rate is 50% of the standard rate.
Whether a development qualifies for the previously developed land rate is determined in accordance with the Government's regulations. In general, at least 75% of the land within the red-line boundary of the relevant planning permission must meet the definition of previously developed land.
Permitted development residential schemes are charged at the previously developed land rate.
