Note from the Inspector 02 November 2016

At my request, the Council has undertaken a consultation on the main modifications it proposes to the Local Development Plan, a paper concerning the implications of the 2014 based household projections for the objective assessment of housing needs, and a sustainability appraisal report update. The Council also invited comments on an updated five-year housing land supply statement 2015/16 and a statement about the Sustainability Appraisal of the Local Development Plan.

I am presently reading and considering all of the responses to this consultation. I anticipate issuing my Further Matters and Issues for the examination in the next week or so, along with a guidance note. When I issue these papers, I will confirm the final dates and venue for further examination hearings - it is currently likely that the hearings will resume during the week commencing 9 January 2017.
