Increase to National Planning Fees
As announced by the Government’s Chief Planner, from the 6 December 2023, planning application fees have increased by 35% for applications for major development and 25% for all other applications, including householder applications. The ‘free go’ will no longer apply for applications withdrawn or refused on or after this date.
Fees will increase annually by the rate of inflation on 1 April each year, starting on 1 April 2025.
